The Challenge
Three Mobile were preparing a new data driven reporting capability ahead of a major business event, launching a B2C platform in time for a pre Christmas sales push. Their existing reporting tools were built on legacy applications, and their data was spread across disparate systems across the organisation. This made it difficult for teams to gather the insights they needed to make consistent, intelligent decisions for the business.
Three recognised the need to replace the outdated system with a modern cloud based platform, but did not have the data expertise required to meet the tight deadline for the new platform build. Pressure was increasing to migrate their reports and establish a stronger reporting capability ahead of launch, so they turned to Tecknuovo for support.

The data DevOps team are working to fully automate the CICD pipeline. They’re paving the way for different environments to be coded together, as well as automating the code that goes through them.
The data modelling team are re-modelling the business’ data from both legacy applications and new sources. Consolidating this live data will empower Three to do two things: gather real-time insights, and leverage them for data-driven business decisions at every turn.
The data analytics team are making these insights accessible and actionable by building a reporting functionality in the analytics layer using Tableau, Alteryx and Snowflake. To retain and leverage historical data, they’re also migrating Three’s legacy reports onto the new platform.
Our teams’ work has created immediate value for Three by putting it firmly on track to deliver the B2C platform on time.
