TeckAcademy
The challenge
The UK faces a severe shortage of digital skills. Over 80% of organisations report gaps in their workforce (BCS, 2024). The digital skills gap is estimated to cost the economy £63 billion each year in lost GDP (Learning & Work Institute). In the public sector, nearly half of digital leaders say that a lack of skilled people is slowing transformation.
This is not only a hiring issue. It delays delivery, stalls innovation, increases supplier dependency, and erodes public trust. At Tecknuovo, we treat it as a capability dependency problem that can be solved in delivery, not in theory.
The opportunity
TeckAcademy builds practical capability that customers keep. We train, embed, and mentor real people on real projects that matter to your organisation and to the UK. We lower barriers to entry and create pathways so apprentices and early-career talent can learn, apply, and grow.
Learners complete certified, industry-aligned courses across DevOps, Agile Delivery, Business Analysis, Software Engineering, and Automation Testing. They apply skills immediately inside customer teams and receive ongoing mentorship with structured feedback from Tecknuovo experts.
We extend the same model to civil servants and junior colleagues with partners such as HMRC and the Department for Education. The result is resilience, self-ownership, and progress toward Zero Dependency.
Each pathway includes milestones, SFIA-aligned assessments, and technical certifications. Customers gain measurable return on investment and a stronger internal bench.

Impact in numbers
Why it matters
Every TeckAcademy graduate strengthens the UK’s digital backbone. They gain the skills, mindset, and confidence to deliver outcomes independently.
This is how we reduce dependency and build a self-sufficient digital nation, one project, one apprentice, one delivery team at a time.
